The Amateur Radio Club of Columbia County (ARCCC), Inc. is planning to hold a “Bring Your Own Project” Workshop. Originally planned for September, the event was postponed due to gathering restrictions as a result of COVID-19. We are planning to hold the workshop in October or November.
The goal for the BYOP Workshop is for members to bring a ham radio or technical project they’ve been working on (or that they want to start). The project could be a kit, an antenna, go-box, setting up ham radio software on your computer, or just about anything. You will be able to take advantage of elmers and other members on hand to offer advice and assistance to help you complete your project.
Prior to the workshop, we will ask participants to register and complete a form with a description of their project, along with a list of the materials and tools they plan to bring. This is to ensure the necessary materials, tools and expertise are available.
Even those who don’t have a project may attend as an opportunity to learn from observing. An email will be sent to club members to RSVP.
If you are interested in bringing your project to the BYOP Workshop, please RSVP using the contact form below
