The Amateur Radio Club of Columbia County, Inc. will be sponsoring the Basic Storm Spotter class during the regularly scheduled club meeting on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 starting at 7 PM.
The Skywarn Storm Spotter class was created by the National Weather Service to improve warning services by receiving critical ground truth reports from trained spotters.
The Basic Storm Spotter class will be taught by Leonard Vaughn the Senior Service Hydrologist/Meteorologist from the Weather Forecast Office in Columbia, SC.
Those who plan to attend this class should complete the form below so the instructor will have a number of participants for material counts.
